The Architect

El Arquitecto

'The Architect: From Myth to Challenge' analyzes the surprising turn of events in Xabi Alonso's career since his arrival at Real Madrid's bench. In just four months, the manager who seemed destined to build in a new era has gone from being a symbol of hope to being questioned by the board, fans and the media. This documentary contrasts Alonso's glorious playing days and his initial successes as a coach at Real Sociedad B and Bayer Leverkusen with the current reality: a weakened project on the verge of collapse. Through exclusive interviews and expert commentary, this film offers the first in-depth look at the manager at his most critical moment, when the myth faces the challenge.
